Growing up in Colorado, I was convinced my friends and I could help save the Amazon rainforest with our bake sale fundraisers. While some kids grow out of their 'change the world' phase, I never did...and I suspect you didn't either.

After completing my Masters in International Relations, my drive to make a large-scale difference only intensified.

I couldn't single-handedly address all the world's problems. However, I could help extend and elevate the efforts of other like-minded individuals and organizations. So, I began honing my natural superpowers—thinking, planning and executing—to make it easier for those around me to achieve meaningful goals.

Working for an incredibly effective Colorado State Representative, I translated my global awareness into local action, improving our community in ways big and small. And when life took me to Australia with my (absolutely worth it!) partner, I lent my problem-solving skills to the Victorian Government (Departments of Premier and Cabinet, Health, and Justice).

Over the course of my career, I worked with my fair share of consultants. Unfortunately, it wasn’t always smooth sailing, and my colleagues and I often felt short-changed. The cookie-cutter solutions, the transactional approach, and the lack of genuine partnership in our success were frustrating.

That's why I resolved to set a different standard when new opportunities led me to establish my own consultancy.
